Why does my Seamoss gel look like liquid?
It is very normal for your Seamoss to lose its "gel like form' during shipping. The Seamoss should be kept in the fridge for at least 2 hours to allow the gel to form to the correct consistency before first use.
Where does your Seamoss come from?
Our Seamoss is naturally grown and harvested in the waters of St. Lucia. Those that harvest our Seamoss work very closely with the government to ensure the waters remain protected.
How long before I receive my order?
We prepare your Seamoss within 24 hours from when you have placed your order (orders made on Fridays - Sunday before 11am will be shipped on Monday). We will then ship your order using a UK Signed For 1st Class Service via Royal Mail.
What does Seamoss gel taste/smell like?
It has no taste on its own which is why it’s versatile to use in multiple recipes both sweet and savoury. There is a slight sea/lime smell however this is very normal, after all it is 100% organic and comes from the sea.
How much Seamoss should I take daily?
We suggest you take no more than 2 tablespoons of Seamoss gel daily.
How do I store Seamoss?
Seamoss gel is a short life product and needs to be stored in the fridge. Please refrigerate immediately (and for at least 2 hours before first use).
How long will Seamoss gel keep?
When refrigerated, consume within 14 days of arrival and always check the “best before date” on the top of the lid.
Seamoss gel can also be frozen for up to 6 months. A convenient way to do this is by decanting the gel into an ice cube tray.
How do I use Seamoss to treat acne, eczema, psoriasis and other Skin irritations?
Rub a thin layer of Seamoss on clean skin and let sit for 30 minutes, rinsing off with warm water.
Can toddlers/kids consume Seamoss?
Yes! Seamoss is great for kids. It helps to build and strengthen strong bones and offers brain support. It contains essential minerals that your child needs, gives them a natural boost of energy and strengthens their immune support.
What kind of water do you use to make the seamoss gel?
Spring water.
My gel has brown specs in it, is that normal?
Yes, our seamoss is cleaned thoroughly and we remove any pebbles, sea shells or ocean particles that has naturally attached to the seamoss. Because of the range in colours even golden seamoss can have pink and brown colours throughout. When the seamoss is blended, you may see these specs of colours in your seamoss.
My order arrived damaged/broken. What do I do?
We try our very best to guarantee that our products arrive undamaged, however if you do receive a damaged product you can submit a claim for a refund/free replacement. Please include the following information via email:
- Order number
- Name
- Address
- Photo of damaged/broken product
The replacement product will be processed and shipped within 48 hours (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Thank you so much for your understanding!
